After recording today JR and I headed off to the Apple store to fix a little problem with his iPod. After making our appointment and talking with the genius we were told he should replace the iPod for 30 bucks or replace and get more AppleCare for 60. He went with the 60. Fast forward an hour or so… No problem with the iPod, just a messed up file making the
sync lock up. So now JR has a new iPod he didn’t need… But that doesn’t kick Unhindered off the mac train. Alltogether we have 4 iPhones, 7 Apple computers, and 4 iPods. Let’s hear it for Apple… even if it did cost JR 60 bucks…

but i have an MP4… its just like a video ipod, the size of an ipod nano, and holds like 1000 songs!
its red too!
but I LOVE apple…
if you come to NC there is a REALLY nice apple store in the uptown… at South Park Mall! its amazzinnng! all the newest stuff…

TIME OUT!
let me add on, to that story.
we were in that store for 2 hours, just fartin around while they worked on my stuff. so this is what happened…after figuring out that nothing was wrong with the ipod, they guy behind the counter says, if you will turn around, my man will take your payment for the ICare and ipod. now, i thought about this and said to him…”oh, well i wont be needing that right? i mean, the problem had nothing to do with my ipod. it was the laptop.” and then, the guy responded to me like this…
“oh….well….ummm…i already opened the new one.” (with a very puzzled look on his face)
at this point i just laughed. christian joined in laughing with me. so, i looked the guy in the eye and said, “welp, looks like i’ll take the apple care for $60 then!”
now i know that i could have put up a small fight and would not have had to pay anything, but!, this is why i didn’t…
apple is amazing. i was amazed at how they stood by their products. i brought my ipod in there, and for free they were willing to look at it and try there best to fix the problem. while they were working on my laptop, not once did they just push it to the side and forget about it. they stuck with me for the whole two hours.
so although i had to pay $60 bucks. Apple is still awesome!!!
(and i got a new ipod and icare)

Hi y’all.. i’m sure y’all get lots of cool stories like this from traveling around for concerts and stuff.. On the side I just wanted to say that I was at battle cry this past weekend and wanted to thank y’all for being willing to let God use you to minister to us. I know I really appreciate it! Y’all were definately my favorite, now i know y’all might hear that a lot but i know i love encouragement and am never upset when i get some so thanks! God Bless!

I have the old iPod. I wanna get the iTouch but I don’t have money yet. Now, aside from that, I also want to get the MAC AIR! So thin it’s cool! Mac is great for all media stuff. That is what ATF uses for all their creative media projects and stuffs. I want to get a mac book/mac air for its iWeb! I want to create my own website. But my friend said here in Canada we have to pay $100 for domain something… But after I graduate from college (which is in 2 months) and get a job, I will buy one! (And Wii too!–It is also in my wish list!) ^_^

Hey Ida! I know what you mean by SAVING for it! I don’t know with you but I can’t save enough for it. I always end up spending the few money I saved for something else. That’s why I cannot save any enough money to buy even the iTouch that I really, really like.
And yeah, I agree with Heather! You guys are really blessed to have so many Apple products!

Johanna, I could save I just used up all my money though to go on missions trips with TeenMania this summer. I can’t sit at home for two months and do nothing.

Wow, Ida! You’re the COOOOOLEST! Where are you going?! I am so excited for you! I am saving up to go too! It’s just that I have to spend the money for the stuffs I needed in college. But I am looking for a stable job soon and really, really hope to go anytime this year. You can never go wrong with that decision. This is our call. Apple can wait. The world cannot wait any longer. =)
You’re one of the souls God is gonna used for changing the course of this world. My fellow youth leaders are going to Romania and South Africa this summer. Two years ago, they went to Peru and Costa Rica. I am praying for Matamoros, Mexico. But if I won’t be able to save enough money, then I will go to Tijuana, Mexico. Unhindered is going there too. It’s just that it’s only a week. Matamoros trip is for 2 weeks. But I am still praying and waiting. If not this year, then I’ll go next year and be able to send and pay for my sister and little brother so they can experience going to a mission trip too.
You have an awesome summer 2008 ahead of you! Continue to be a blessing!

But anyhow, about the trip… I am not sure about it. I might not because I still have to fix a lot of paper stuffs and documents. I might next year. So I might be joining Jaycee instead of Ida. =)
And yeah… for BEN, PAT, CHRISTIAN, JR, ASHLEY: I agree with Jaycee, tell us if ever you are coming next year! So we can sign up for it and be able to fix papers and contact our GE reps early!

back to iPod toys, I have an iPod Nano 4gb but iPhones don’t have service in North Dakota so nobody has them.
The nearest Apple Store is in the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota (its 6 hours from my town.) so everyone gets iPods from Target and Sam’s Club and Walmart.
