We had an awesome time down there and would love to hear some of your stories from ministering with your groups if you were on the trip. In other news, the record is being wrapped up as we speak. Some of it is already off to mix. Just some touch-ups and strings to be done on the rest. No word on a release date yet for you guys but stay tuned. PEACE!

but i cant wait to go back god did some crazy things there

yall remember the girl that went up to tlk and she liked screamd every time i wanna meet her lol she was funny :D so if your one her girl use your loud mouth and shear the gospel to the world
      GO GIRLFRIEND!!!

    2. Ida Says:

I think my story is how I changed my outlook on life. Someone said to me, that it is not the situation that makes the situation it is how you react. They said it is how you react to things in life that makes life the way it is. That really meant a lot to me. I have also learned to be happy with what we have. The people there have so little, but yet they’re happy. I also more appreciative for showers and flushing toilets… Anyone who went there knows what I mean.

    3. DanielleC (click here for the unhindered fan site) Says:

haha ida i agree with everythin and the last part was great yes i love my shower !!! and with no long lines lol.

    4. Ida Says:

    8. Joahnna Says:

Well. As for me… I can’t share anything about the trip because I wasn’t there! Ha. Here I am, still stuck at work. But glad to hear from you, Christian. I just hope you would maybe add more stuffs and maybe get the guys to share some stuffs too about the trip. Did you guys have videos you can share???

I know you’re all busy about the record that’s why I wish you all the best for this upcoming CD. We are all excited for you guys and excited getting it as well! Ha!

funny! good times i cant wait for next year Ida you going.

    10. Taylor Says:

Hey everyone…So I didn’t go on this trip but I went on a GE trip to New York this summer and I just wanted to share what I learned. I learned that there are all these people walking by and they all need Jesus (I already knew that part), and that no matter how hard we try we can’t singled-handedly reach them all, but we can touch one life who can touch another, who can touch another and in the end that’s all we can really hope for is to start a chain of believers. Well, I’m glad you all had an awesome time. God Bless!

    11. Taylor Says:

Oh and if you think the bathrooms there were bad…my best friend went to panama and there bathrooms were nothing more than a little outhouse on the end of a dock over the ocean. There was a hole in the middle of the floor and that is where all there…well ya know…went…into the ocean which is the same place that they got to bathe in. They did that for 2 months!

    12. DanielleC (click here for the unhindered fan site) Says:

wow taylor i was just thinkin about going to panama in the future for a missions trip later on i think that would be an experince i would never forget and alot of my sayin “its all for jesus!” haha

    13. Lauren Says:

Unfortunately I didn’t go on the Mexico trip, but I really hop yall (who did go) had a fun time and really ministered to the people there.
And Chrispy, I can’t wait to find out more about the new record, ’cause I’m so excited about it!
      Love yall, Lauren ;-7

    14. Natalie Says:

Ida I know what u mean about the “it’s not the situation ur in it’s how u react to it” thing. When my mom and I see huge families on the news or watch Jon and Kate plus eight we always talk about how God knows which parents can handle that and which parents can’t.
And I also remember reading that nothing about ppl is just an accident. God decided race, parents, country, and everything about us for a reason so it could glorify God. And when I hear about mission trips I always think about how the ppl there were meant to hear the gospel this way and that they were meant to be reached like that. I think sometimes God chooses someone to go through a lot so that other ppl can see that even though they have a lot of reasons to cry they have God so they’re still smiling.

And thanks for the update Chrispy, it’s good to hear about the record!

    15. Ida Says:

Danielle I totally remember that dude!!!!!! I was laughing so hard and everyone around me was like what is her problem!

    16. DanielleC (click here for the unhindered fan site) Says:

lol me to well they werent laughin at me but they knew he had it wrong bc they seen unhindered already so it was funny.

pat do u remember signin a boys “tux” shirt? and u sign it and u were like ” how akward can i make this? okay ill sign you man breast!” haha your too funny :D

and natalie you are so righti dont believe in i for get the word but it means that things just happen out of the blue i think everythin happens for a reasonif the worst in the bible it ssay bad things happen so we can be closer and trust in god more.

      one love
      Danielle

    17. Ida Says:

people had seen them it I was like ha! he totally screwed that up.. and people were just like you don’t have to make it a big deal..

    18. DanielleC (click here for the unhindered fan site) Says:

lol :D i tho it was funny but my whole youth group thinks im crazy for being obessed with the band but then wen it was time to meet them they all went up to see them i was wow guys lol like they just make it a joke i think its funny bc i dont get offened by it lol :)

    19. Ida Says:

    20. DanielleC (click here for the unhindered fan site) Says:

lol i do that lot :) sorry lol

    21. Ida Says:

      thats ok…

    22. DanielleC (click here for the unhindered fan site) Says:

      kk lol
and Natalie i LOVE that show jona nd kate plus 8!

    23. Lauren Says:

Okay, this is REALLY random, but have any of you heard the song ‘Britney’ by Bebo Norman (it’s new)?.. Anyhow, I was just wondering if yall thought it was directed straight towards Britney Spears or if she is just used as an example…
I know it’s a weird question, but you guys (on the Unhindered blog) were the only people I could think of to ask!!
      Love ya, Lauren ;-7

    24. DanielleC (click here for the unhindered fan site) Says:

haha Lauren thats funny sorry no answer tho, i dont really listen to that music. acually i gave up on “worldly” music when i gave my life to go in march. but let me tell u im a big music freak and i never tho i could do it but i heard god say YOU can do it with my help and through christian music i feel my relationship with him has grown and music is now a tool for me and a blessing to sing to the lord :D

      sorry random .

    25. Natalie Says:

I don’t listen to “worldly” music either. Well, I’ll listen to a song once if everyone is talking about it but after I’ve heard it I don’t listen to it again. I do listen to Nickelback and the Jonas Brothers though (Jo Bros used to be a christian band, btw) b/c they aren’t that bad.

Yeah i think it’s about Britney Spears b/c he says “we” and “our” and my fave line is “Brittney I’m sorry for the stones u throw. We tear u down so we can watch the show.”

Good for u Danielle for totally giving up secular music.

Has anyone heard of Katy Hudson? Now she sings under the name Katy Perry and she’s the one that wrote “i kissed a girl”. but katy hudson was a christian singer so i’m wondering if she gave up christianity or if she never was a christian and she just came up w/ some lyrics and made a cd. i doubt it, but i’m not sure.

    26. DanielleC (click here for the unhindered fan site) Says:

yea i heard of that song i kissed a girl and that she was a christian artist but idk those are some strong lyrics and the video is bad lol the thing thats rly hard not listen to “worldly” music is everyones listen to it so if im in a car with my friends i cant just change the station so i either just sit there and do nothin or have my zune so but if some one gave me JB concert tickets (my friend went to their concert thur) i would deff take them . lol yea i kew that they were christian singers and are christian they were on a tv show and said that there faith keeps them going so i mean some songs have nothin bad in them and some songs do but my friend he gave up on the music thing to and only listen to chirstian music but then he was like well the 80s music isnt bad and started listen to that it just i made a commitment and in the bible it says dont take a Vow or pladge to somethin expecally to God if your not gonna go threw with it. so :D here i am and all my friends think im crazy but idc lol .

    27. Lauren Says:

Actually, I don’ really listen to anything out of the Christian music world either…
And ‘Britney’ is a Christian song sung by a Christian singer (Bebo Norman sang a song in the movie ‘Facing the Giants’). The Christian radio station I listen to even had it on their music poll (you get to vote on the music you wanna hear, and it was one of the new songs they introduced).
And in regards to Katy Perry, I think she’s crazy. I heard how she used to be a Christian singer. My youth pastor says she’s just in the music business for the money now.
But yall really should check ‘Britney’ out. It’s a good song with a cool message.

    28. Lauren Says:

Not that Unhindered is bad or anything, ’cause you guys oughta know by now that I love ya!!

    29. Joahnna Says:

Ohmy, I never knew that guys. That is very disappointing. Well, I guess we just have to pray for Kate Perry so she won’t be after fame and money. Music can change lives. Kate’s song is so popular and I believe has been impacting lives especially of youth out there. And that is upsetting. T_T

That’s why we should encourage kids and youths out there to listen to the kind of music we listen to!

      *Wink! Wink!

      ~Joahnna

    30. DanielleC (click here for the unhindered fan site) Says:

yeah joahnna i totally agree! that song is promoting the wrong things.

lets keep the ppl like Katy perry and Britney Spears in our prayers.

    31. Ida Says:

I have never heard that song… I’ve heard Bebo Norman and don’t really care for his style.. Have you looked up the lyrics?

    32. Natalie Says:

Yeah, Katy Perry’s song is rly influencing ppl, we used to sing that song during softball practice and then we went to the state tourney (we got second, but we should have won since it was 14 and under and the other team looked like they were at least 16) and were singing it on one of our breaks.

Ur right in saying that she’s prolly in it for the money. I just remember this verse about how if ur a true Christian and then u backslide until ur doing everything u did before u were a Christian then it’s possible that ur conscience and the holy spirit’s power on u can just dissolve like alkaselzer (idk how to spell that) in water or hair on a horse when it’s branded. I can’t remember where it is but we discussed it in Bible Study one day.

the JBs are, but what about Hannah Montannah? She told Fox News she wants to live like Christ and then later she took those pics for Vanity Fair.

On my iPod all I have are christian songs, some of my parents songs I like (like the Rolling Stones) and some of my brothers (like Too Bad from Nickelback). I haven’t put worldly music on it since I became a Christian, but I look up songs b/c everyone’s talking about them at school. yeah, i know i shouldn’t, i’m working on that.

    33. DanielleC (click here for the unhindered fan site) Says:

yeah i heard that HMT had a wat are those promise rings or purity rings im hearing them both lol. but idk if u go on photobucket and look her up shes got some no so christian lookin photos but idk i dont wanna judge but natalie i have the same problem im like well those songs are bad to listen to but i made a commitment and im not gonna brakw it and once i put the jo bros song burnin up and i feelt so guilty idk why so i deleted it and idk i heard nickelback and some of there songs sound christian but i dont think they are ?? help?

    34. Lauren Says:

I totally agree with you Joahnna–we should pray for a lot of the Hollywood stars.
As far as the Jonas Brothers go, I’ll admit–I’m a fan!! I mean, I’m not in love with them, but they do have a couple of good songs (altohugh–I agree with you Danielle–I’m not so sure about ‘Burnin’ Up’). But I do know that they pray before all their concerts with their family and crew members, and that’s pretty reassuring.
And I don’t even wanna get into Miley Cyrus. I know it’s probably not the best song, but I really do love ‘7 Things’. But her music style has changed a lot, and I really don’t like her anymore.
Well, that’s all for my celebrity gossip!! (ha ha ;-7)

    35. Ida Says:

I only own one 1 uno secular song… Hey There Delilah by the Plain White Tee’s… My friend IMed it to me…

    36. DanielleC (click here for the unhindered fan site) Says:

lol well it seens like we all like at lest one secular song i mean i like em but dont listen to them lol .

    37. Natalie Says:

I LOVE “HEY THERE DELIILAH”!!! I rly wanted to play it on guitar but I ended up choosing not to b/c it’s still pretty hard and i knew b/c it’s meant to be sung to a girl I’d chicken out if I tried to sing it at camp next summer at the campfire.

I don’t have a problem w/ “burning up” but i was a little scared when my friend told me they had a new song called “that’s just the way we roll”. And of course I was in school so I had lots of time to think about what sort of song has that title. But I think the reason I’m okay w/ burning up is b/c the music video was rly clean compared to the ones for “I kissed a girl” by katy perry or “leavin’” by jesse mccartney.

I have a lot of secular stuff on my iPod, but most of it is old songs like ‘pinball wizard’ (i luv the intro on that song, its by The Who) or the Rolling Stones or something. Nothing bad.

    38. Ida Says:

The Who is awesome!!!!! I like their song My Generation! Hawk Nelson did a remake of it for NBC’s American Dreams. The show was aired on October 10 2004. You can tell how many times I’ve listened to their Special Edition Letters to the President CD. I only have the remake but when my dad heard it he was like is this The Who? Then I saw a documentary on PBS about the Who and it had them playing the song in concert.. But I still prefer Hawk’s version much better…

    39. Joahnna Says:

      Okay, here’s what I think:

      1. I am really not interested in Jonas Brothers music. But I think Joe is cute! ^_^
      2. I can’t stand Hannah Montana (Sorry Hannah Montana Fans out there!)

      ~Joahnna

PS. Okay, I wanna be really honest. Joe is VERY cute. Ha!

    40. Ida Says:

I agree with Joahnna.. I don’t like the Jonas Brothers or Hannah Montana…

    41. Natalie Says:

JB I don’t listen to a lot, when they come out w/ a new song I check it out, but I don’t have their stuff on my iPod or anything. And Joe and Nick are cute.

I have a few Hannah Montannah CDs and I used to listen to them 24/7 but now when I listen to it I find most of her songs rly annoying.

Is there any update on the record name or release date???

    42. BigBro Says:

Awwww I wanted to go so bad!!!
