Blog vs. Chat Room

Tuesday, August 12th, 2008 @ 9:15 pm | Uncategorized

Okay so let me preface this posting by saying that WE LOVE all of you guys who support us so consistently. It keeps us pumped and motivated to know that there are people out there that God is reaching through the music we play. However, there has been something that the guys and I have been talking about that needs to be expressed to some of you most active in this blog. When we set out to create the Unhindered blog the heart was our desire to create a forum for people to interact and respond to questions and comments about everyday life posed by the band. To be honest, it’s sort of turned into a “chat room” of sorts for some of you (hence the title of this blog). We are all about the community and friendships that you guys have established through this site however, we’re going to have to start limiting comments to those directly related to the postings in order to maintain an environment where people just passing through feel comfortable getting involved in the conversation. Again, please don’t hear this as asking you to limit your involvement. We just ask that the discussion be kept relevant to the topic at hand. I promise that in coming months more band members will be posting and blogs will appear more and more often. I also assure you that there are very exciting things happening in the coming months and as promised, you guys are on the front line. Thanks so much again for all you guys’ support. You are loved and appreciated by all of us!

Does this also have to do with the fact that every time a person posts a comment that an email is sent to each band member?

    2. Natalie Says:

what? can you explain that Ida?

    3. christian Says:

Hey Ida. Actually we have set it up to send us an e-mail with every post. This is an easy way to keep us up to date on what people are posting without having to log in.

Gosh, I’ve totally realized what you are saying Christian, and I feel so bad for talking with people like this is a chat room… But don’t worry, I’ve completely learned my lesson! (And I was actually thinking about what you just said before you even said it…) But now I feel so guilty–please forgive me you guys!!
I even remember when I first came onto your blog and people were chatting with each other and I was really annoyed by it, so I guess I know how you feel.
And thanks for setting me straight about this too!!

But anyhow, I’m really looking forward to hearing more about your new record.

finally! i hate having to wait forever for a page to load so i can respond to a blog.

    6. Natalie Says:

sorry about that… if anyone has an atf page i’ll use that to talk to u guys instead of on here. yeah, every once in a while i’d show my friends one of the videos (like Beef Jerky Town) and they’d be shocked at how quick we got off subject.

    7. christian Says:

Hey guys! It’s ALL GOOD! Nobody is upset. :-D

I’m about to post an update on the record so check it out!

    8. BigBro Says:

lol I may have joined in on going off topic a few times too… Sorry. I am also glad you posted this though. lol ;-)

    9. Beth Says:

Who writes your blogs? I notice there’s no author that signs them. Can you start signing them? There is so much personality in some I’ve read and also bold admonishment. I’d just like to know who’s writing to put a face with a voice.

Its funny how I stumbled on your site. The Lord has been giving me the word, “Unhindered” over and over again in the last month. I forget you guys play at Inside Out at NP and that its your name! I recalled tonight and looked you up. I’m a small group leader and fan! - Beth
