End of Summer…

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008 @ 7:18 am | Uncategorized

Hey all you Bloggolians out there! As the summer is quickly coming to a close, it has become clear how close we are to the new CD! We have decided on a release in early January ‘09! I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning…BUT: instead of getting the new High School Musical DVD, it’s a record. And instead of Santa delivering it…It is some overweight UPS guy sporting a rat tail and a pair of shorts that are way to short for him. All this talk about Christmas is bringing out that Christmas cheer deep inside. I need to go get my santa hat on!Be right back…Ok. Im Back. While I’m on this rant, I would argue that the greatest gift you can give to someone on Christmas day (excluding: gift certificates, hugs, and cards) is…(drum role please)…Socks! You always need them. Can’t ever get enough socks! Any thoughts/disagreements/questions/concerns?Anyways, we are all pumped about this new season that is approaching and hope to see everyone soon!

Hey Pat! I missed you and your blogs here! It is nice to see you blogging again!

I would have to agree with you, I love socks. Especially colourful ones.

Speaking of socks, I just want to share you this cool socks I saw on TV. My lil bro watches this show called I Carly and there’s this guy called Spencer who’s soooo addicted to socks, colourful socks with built-in lights on it. Cool!

Can’t wait for Christmas! I guess my gift to myself would not come (and be delivered by a UPS guy sporting a rat tail and a pair of shorts that are way too short for him) until January as well! ^_^ *Wink! WInk!

I have to agree again with you, Christmas is in the air. I don’t know how it is like down there but up here is getting a little cold, I woke up this morning and felt the air a becoming a little crisp! ^_^

      God bless you guys…

      … And see you soon!

Know that I am praying for all of you. all for the Lord or nothing at all.

    4. Brittany Says:

I think the sock thing is a great idea and rather funny that you bring it up for a christmas gift because last year I got all my friends crazy socks or funny slippers because I was tired of always getting and giving candles and lotion every year……socks as you said are always needed and a conversation piece when given as a gift….ha happy sock shopping

    5. theuprisingpeople Says:

WOW Pat, we had no idea you had such great descriptive ability – the uprising people are quite impressed!! Christmas makes us think of the…

Top 5 Greatest Gifts To Give An UNHINDERED Fan:

#5. SLIPPER SOCKS!! the skid-proof treads on the bottom MUST say “UNHINDERED” (we would not accept it any other way)
#4. UNHINDERED bobble heads (they must not have kickin’ quesadilla breath or renegade weaves…I know, we’re being picky)
#3. The UNHINDERED Alarm Clock. It wakes you up by firing all 5 band members up in the air, and then it is your task to get them and put them back in the alarm clock - it won’t turn off until then.
#2. Musical Pen. Shaped like a drum stick that plays UNHINDERED quotes while you write. (our personal favorite comes from Ben’s alter ego, Sandra… ”the hidden whales…they are hard to release”)
#1. The New CD (Duh!) signed and personally delivered by the entire crew – ya’ll could dress up in those fabulous brown UPS outfits ONLY if you wear tube socks pulled up to your knees and a matching sweatband with a built in sound sensitive graphic equalizer panel. 

    6. Ida Says:

Once again the uprising people have come up with some really impressing stuff!!!!

Pat, YOU FINALLY WROTE A BLOG… Funny thing is the day you wrote this blog was my last day of summer vacation! So I’m writing this comment on the first day of school!!!! Well school’s ended by now for the day..

I disagree about the socks part… The best thing you can get for Christmas is plain old cash… Because then you can’t be disappointed because you can get whatever you want!!!

    7. Natalie Says:

I give candles and picture frames for christmas. Yeah, I know that’s lame, but my parents don’t tell me what they want and i don’t usually see my brothers and sisters until a few days before christmas so i don’t have time to go out and get something special.

Uprising Ppl, that’s hilarious. Oh, but make sure u use the talking pen in school so everyone can know how Greenland needs some help releasing the hidden whales!!! lol

    8. Devan (unhindereds best fan EVA) Says:

hey i like the sock idea!! i like the anckle high ones!! lol It really is good to see someone other than Christian blogging! Not that we dont love to here from Chrispy but u kno its nice to hear from someone else!!! lol im gunna stop typin now!!

    9. Lauren Says:

Way to go Uprising People!! Yall have gone over the top once again!
And believe it or not, I actually DO get a lot of socks for Christmas (it must be a grandmother thing), but I don’t necessarily think that they’re the best gift… I’d have to agree with Ida–cash is pretty good too! (And giftcards totally count–as long as they’re to a good store!)
And I–thankfully–have three more days until school starts… I’m gonna be a freshman, so high school will definitely be a new experience!!
And I cannot wait ’til January now (you’ve got me all excited now Pat!)!!

    10. Beth Says:

wow! Pat, you actually wrote a blog!! i’m so proud! ;)
and i will have to agree with you on the whole sock thing, they’re pretty awesome.

      God Bless!

    11. Beth Says:

hahaha!! i’ m LOVING the uprising people! you keep me entertained!! :)

    13. Erica Kay Says:

I can’t even believe we are talking about Christmas, but the way summer has gone by so quickly, it will be here soon. The best Christmas present I got was…my Great Grandma’s Diamond necklace (that I wear almost everyday). And of course socks. Except my dog likes to steal all my socks and hide them. And don’t even get me started on UPS guys. We have a crazy one here in Ely and he is just wierd and old. Well got to go and get ready for school tomorrow. My second year in college and I’m going to go crazy.

    14. Ashley ( Not Dasher..and also not a dude.) Says:

As long as there toe socks, I’m in.

    15. DanielleC Says:

haha ashley love ur head line lol :D

    16. Audra Says:

I need socks specifically black ones for my marching band uniform…
