hi
pat: hi
bloggers: hey pat
Pat: it’s so good to see you! how are things?
bloggers: great! We are really excited about the new cd!
Pat: Really? Im not. The new cd sounds like Elton John and Cher had a baby…. and then that baby grew up and married Shania Twain…and then they had a baby and named it unhindered.
Bloggers: Really? thats kind of a bummer. Wait a second…are we talking “old school” Cher or “do you believe in life after love Cher?
Pat: “do you believe in life after love” Cher.
Bloggers: Thats too bad…
Pat: yea…
***awkward silence***
Pat: Well all of you are looking great!
Bloggers: Thanks! Your hair…it’s..it’s looking very…mullet-ish.
***awkward silence***
Pat: thanks…
***awkward silence***

Sorry about that. It just started to bug me that I could not have a real conversation with the unhindered blogging community! It has been a great start to the fall tour. We’ve been playing some new songs, getting little sleep, and eating at the Popeyes in terminal “B” in the atlanta airport. Any Popeyes fans in the house??Anytime you fly through atlanta, you HAVE to eat at this particular Popeyes! The atmosphere is great. Not to mention the delicious spicy chicken biscuits…Sooooo good! It has become an unhindered pre-flight ritual…on second thought, don’t eat there. That would mean a longer line for us. Anyways, hope to everyone soon.
p.s. Are there any particular topics you would like to see discussed on this blog in the future?

You liar! You always get the bacon egg and cheese! I’M the ONLY one in the band who has stayed consistent with the spicy combo! That is except for last week when they gave me mild by mistake…
October 14th, 2008 at 7:32 am
No fighting or name calling on the blog!! Only love is allowed on the blog. I could quote 1 Corinthians 13… but I don’t feel like typing that much.
I do feel like singing Barney though…
*I love you, you love me, we’re a happy family*
What can I say, I’m just cool like that.
Just kidding
Anyways, I was at the Chicago ATF the 3rd and 4th and I got almost too excited when you guys did “He Loves Us” by John Mark McMillan/
Kim Walker. Have any of you heard the story behind the song?
P.S. I’m not even going to comment on the whole, Cher, Elton John, the baby marrying Shania Twain, and then them somehow offspringing unhindered…yea. But, I do love Popeyes; it’s one of the many things that make me happy.
October 14th, 2008 at 12:02 pm
Christian is right! He is the only one in the band who is consistent and very faithful to the SPICY biscuit. Anyone who sits next to Christian on that flight will suffer from the spicy breakfast aftermath. I just stick to the mild for smooth sailing. WoRd!
October 14th, 2008 at 2:33 pm
I say it’s about time for that blog!!!! Pat if you ever want to have a conversation with the fans just aim me!! I dislike popeyes… ick….
Oh yeah.. Did you guys pick out a name for us fans yet??? We haven’t got an update on that yet…..
October 14th, 2008 at 2:40 pm
yea i agree with ida lol
you guys should do like chat blogs where you get questions from the fans and then you answer then on a video alot of bands are doing tht like the chris coleman band!! (big fan of theirs go check them out)
October 14th, 2008 at 2:50 pm
Okay, so now we know that Christian is the Spicy biscuit king and that anyone who sits by him on the next flight will suffer the “spicy breakfast aftermath”… but I still say that there should be no name calling.
For one thing, calling someone a liar is just not nice. For another, based on scripture, liars go to hell.
See what I mean?
No name calling!
I’m gonna’ have to stick w/ JR on this one and say that mild is best.
You know what’s really sad? The nearest Popeye’s is an hour and 15 minutes from my house. We don’t even have a sonic. Maybe that’s why it’s so cold in Wisconsin.
Hey, but there’s snow in the winter! Snow makes it all worthwhile!
Wow… I’m getting really sidetracked.
Okay, so the whole reason I’m even on the blog is because I wanted to make sure you guys knew the story behind the song “He Love Us”.
Any One?
October 14th, 2008 at 5:22 pm

October 14th, 2008 at 5:39 pm
Hey everyone from Unhindered,I just had a good idea but..I was just thinking, why use a blog, when you can use a chatroom…But only on the website…And just to to you Im not really allowed to get on myspace, and I dont really see why,but I still respect my parents oppinions, and orders.
…lol I luv to make smilys like that
October 14th, 2008 at 5:56 pm
You guys remind me so much of my brothers and sisters. We are always bickering with each other. By the way there are 8 of us in our family. I’m the 3rd child. And i know what is is like sitting next to someone and have to deal with the aftermath of the spicy food (sorry Thomas I had to tell them). In my family it goes Edward-23, Kevin-20, Me-19, David-12
Thomas-9 Caleb-7, Isabella-6 and the youngest is Patrick he is 4. Man that is way off topic. And the whole thing with Popeye’s thing - we dont have them here in Nevada, but when we go back east to visit family, we always stop there and eat like crazy. I even think we are at the ones you guys were talking about. Well I got to go and cook dinner for my family and then get to class. I agree with DanielleC about the questions thing. That would be a great way for all of us to get to know you.

October 14th, 2008 at 7:18 pm
Yeah..I stuck in the back…section 102..I thought about bringing a camera, but if you think about it,I wouldnt get a good picture, and why? all I would benefit from the picture ia a huge head blocking the view, and also it was kinda dark in the back. And I was probably the 20th person to get a CD.IDK
October 14th, 2008 at 7:34 pm
i dont know about everyone else but i was laughing through that whole blog! Pat i enjoyed that very much…very creative! anyway i have never even heard of popeyes prolly because i dont have one where i live.
October 14th, 2008 at 8:40 pm
Okay, just in case anyone wants to know, a really simple but awesome story behind the song “He Loves Us”, Just go to YouTube and type in the search box: He Loves Us by John Mark McMillan. It’s the first video.
I thought it was really awesome to be playing a song that has a prayer and a promise of a youth movement at ATF.
By the way, I’ve personally heard testimonies about how the love of God completey consumed people and changed their lives dramatically through this song.
That’s all I wanted to blog about.
I don’t know if any of you guys from unhindered knew the story or the promise behind the song, but I’ve felt led ever since the Chicago ATF to remind you.
God Bless!!

Hello people from the webland and of course, my beloved Unhindered! Ha!
I am so thrilled to see the blog up and running again. I was so psyched to see Pat’s name on this entry and 16 comments on it! Yohooooo! Just to let you know webland guys and Unhindered, I know it is weird, but I miss you! Especially when we do have little crazy conversations from now and then between each blogs. Thanks for Pat for this heart-felt entry. Ha!
Well, so far I like the idea of Danielle that there could be one blog wherein we just post questions and you guys answer. I think it would be fun.
Or maybe it would be awesome if there’s one entry written by all Unhindered guys. It would also be cool if you could post funny pictures. Pictures like from your childhood, prom, wedding, etc. Because we your fans would like to get to know all of you more! (It would be cool if you could post baby pictures and we’ll guess who’s who! Ha!)
We could in return send some of ours to you!
Anyhow, this would require a lot of time. But it is still worth the try!
Popeye’s used to be 30 minutes away. Then they built a new one about 15 minutes away from my place. Now there’s a new one built again and it is like 7 minutes away. I am not a fan of their chicken but I love their biscuits. Try it with Syrup! ^_^
~Joahnna
PS. Can’t wait to see you guys in Canada!
October 15th, 2008 at 8:21 am
PPS. I am just proud to report to you that today at work I am wearing my blue Unhindered Worship T-Shirt! Aye!
October 15th, 2008 at 11:12 am
Wazzup, hows it goin for you guys?Joahnna I kinda agree with your idea,it would be cool if we could submit pictures of ourselves and see their pics to.Right now im sitting here at my desk drinking Rockstar energy drink mixed with mocha coffee, try it sometime, its kinda nasty when ytou first try it but 2nd can,you WILL THINK”OH GOD I WANDER HOW IT WOULD TASTE IN HEAVEN”!have a good afternoon everyone.:-)
October 15th, 2008 at 11:34 am
Ha Joahnna i miss our convos too :[

D
October 15th, 2008 at 3:55 pm
Thanks Sean and Danielle! Anyhow, just a thought…
Rockstar = Good.
Mocha Coffee = Good.
Rockstar + Mocha Coffee = ?
Wouldn’t that make you UBER hyped? I should try that! Ha! ^_^ Great to recommend to all Unhindered fans before going to a Unhindered event — to make the gig twice the fun! Ha!
Hmm, I have an idea for a topic for the next blog entries!
MAYBE, THE GUYS COULD TRY TO THINK OF A WEIRD DRINK CONCOCTION, LIKE ROCKSTAR + MOCHA COFFEE OR A WEIRD FOOD COMBINATION LIKE PIZZA + BOILED EGG (Eeew — Can’t think of any!) AND WRITE THEIR THOUGHTS ABOUT IT AND WE, AS FANS, SHOULD TRY IT AND SEND OUR THOUGHTS AND COMMENTS ONTO THE BLOG ENTRY!
Nothing serious but hey, why not?! Ha! ^_^
~Joahnna
October 15th, 2008 at 7:56 pm
Hmm, maybe the title of the new cd, since i’ve been waiting patiently at my computer for oh, say a month maybe?
and yes, I think y’all need to set up a chatroom date/time and just chat with us. it’d be nice….
October 15th, 2008 at 9:06 pm
Joahnna,im not trying to offend you,but the Rockstar mocha.ITS ALLREADY IN THE CAN WHEN YOU BUY IT.And I just had a great idea for the next video, try to get a mento pack, then a bottle of diet coke and heres your options:keep the mento in your mouth while drinking,or swallow the mento and then drink the diet coke.TRUST ME DO NOT SWALLOW THE MENTO!and yes I have heard of people suffering by swallowing the mento then drinking a whole bottle of Diet Coke within 10minutes.AND DO NOT DO THAT ON A DAILY BASIS LIKE YOU WOULD WITH A PILL!
October 15th, 2008 at 9:11 pm
I just kinda had a lesson to myself.Lucifer tries to give you the death things like choice B from my last post, and God tries to give you the fun experiment which wont injure you.Do you like to give yourselves lessons?I DO!
October 16th, 2008 at 5:35 am
I Totaly agree with Joahnna! love the Picture Idea and the Chat room Idea! I Saw Unhindered At ATF in Amhurst and totaly Fell in love with you guys! I was so excited when i saw Pat wrote an entry! Oh I Also agree with Lauren, Please Pretty Please give us the name of your new CD. Guitar Rules!
October 16th, 2008 at 5:50 am

October 16th, 2008 at 6:30 am
Mabey you should open a Webcam thing, for people who have Webcam’s, you could do this thing where you come on like once a week and you can litarly talk with your fans! Or you could get Google Talk Account, and there is this thing where, if the other person uses Google Talk (not Gmail Talk) you can litarly TALK to them if you have a microphone. that wold be so cool!
October 16th, 2008 at 6:32 am
P.S. I was being nice with the Webcam idea, Cuz im not allowed to use one.
boo.
October 16th, 2008 at 6:59 am
Hey guys! I guess this post is directed more towards Pat. Hey there, this is Danielle. My boyfriend and I met you at the ATF event in St. Louis. We were the crazy credit card/ hoodie people…oh, and the Tenn. Fans
*I am not sure how much longer I will able to claim that considering their record….anyway…* I just wanted to say it was so awesome to worship with you guys this past weekend. We listened faithfully to you guys after ATF last year. We did not have a worship band so we just played your songs for our youth group and I am just amazed how the amazing Spirit of God just flows through the lyrics and the entire messgage. I guess I just wanted to encourage each of you. You are making a major difference for eternity, even if it is just in a small youth group in a small lil town in MO. We have been blessed by each of you responding to the call God placed on your life. You will all be in our prayers and we look forward to hearing more of you next year. May you be blessed and protected as I am sure Satan will not hold back his attack on you.
In Christ’s Grace and Assurance,
Danielle

Hey Dalielle I was there at the ATF in St.Louis to…I was in s3ction 102,thtas the far back…What section was you in?and I possibly saw you…and tell me if you saw a boy named Sammy…he doesnt really shake hands like a man..he looked about 15 or so…but I think it was like a greeting handshake. -_- IM HYPER RIGHT NOW I JUST HAD A SWEET-TART!And am bout ready to have a redbull…mmmm
October 16th, 2008 at 3:32 pm
Oh my goodness, I haven’t been on here in forever (and come to think of it, neither have yall!)… Nice hearing from you Pat!
My friends and I were really getting pumped for ATF at this youth event we went to last night at a local church called Fusion. They had a burger eating contest (I’ll bet yall would’ve loved that!) and my school won (118 burgers and 33 people for my school alone!). Then this awesome band called–I think–Florida V (something like that!) played a couple of your songs and some others. And Thomas Young shared his amazing testimony with everyone…
Enough chit-chat, I gotta go! It’s so great to hear from yall again–keep in touch ;-7
October 16th, 2008 at 6:46 pm
Lauren my friends youth group had a thing like tht called battle of the burgers and sophomores won with 60 bugers with like 14 kids hah my friend ate 7 in 5 minutes i only ate 3 in 5 lol but it was funny :]
Pat you should cmnt on the blog lol =)
October 17th, 2008 at 8:00 am
Hey Sean, I know about that. What I meant was your OWN VERSION of it! Like mixing regular rockstar with your own home-made coffee! HA!
October 17th, 2008 at 8:11 am
PS. I haven’t tried it yet though. That was why I was thinking about if it makes you uber hyped. I just noticed, you pack yourself with too much energy — pop tarts (sugar) and redbull… You must be very hyper. ^_^ I just kinda thought of that weird idea of concoction for a blog topic/challenge. Maybe it was worth a try. Ahihi.
October 17th, 2008 at 8:20 am
PPS. Oh sorry, I meant sweet tart.
October 17th, 2008 at 5:59 pm
Wow… you guys really do need a chat room. For now, we’re going to go ahead and close comments for this blog but no fear… someone had a good idea on here that we’re gonna give a shot. Stay tuned…
